AI:Technology

Artificial Intelligence

What is AI used for ?

AI is used to screen resumes and rank candidates according to their level of qualification. AI is also used to predict candidate success in given roles through job matching platforms. And now, AI is rolling out recruiting chat bots that can automate repetitive communication tasks.

Types of AI Systems

  • Reactive Machines AI
  • Limited Memory AI
  • Theory of Mind AI
  • Self-aware AI
  • Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI)
  • Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)
  • Artificial Superhuman Intelligence (ASI)

Artificial intelligence has gained an incredible momentum in the past couple of years. The current intelligent systems have the capability of managing large amounts of data and simplifying complicated calculations very fast. But these are not the sentient machines. AI developers are trying to develop this feature in the future. In the coming years, AI systems will reach and surpass the performance of humans in solving different tasks. Different types of AI have emerged to assist other artificial intelligence systems to work smarter. In this article, we are going to have a look at different categories of artificial intelligence.

Back in the 1950s, the fathers of the field Minsky and McCarthy, described artificial intelligence as any task performed by a program or a machine that, if a human carried out the same activity, we would say the human had to apply intelligence to accomplish the task.

 AI Robot:Sophia

Today artificial intelligence is working at very high level in the world just like AI Robots which is use at hotels hospitals and other most important place of development . There are so many AI Robots are developed by engineers. For example, Sophia this is a robot who works like humans Sophia is a social humanoid robot developed by Hong Kong-based company Hanson Robotic. Sophia was activated on April 19, 2015 and made her first public appearance at South by Southwest Festival (SXSW) in mid-March 2016 in Austin, Texas, United States. She is able to display more than 50 facial expressions.

Sophia has been covered by media around the globe and has participated in many high-profile interviews. In October 2017, Sophia, the robot became the first robot to receive citizenship of any country. In November 2017, Sophia was named the United Nations Development Programs first ever Innovation Champion, and the first non-human to be given any United Nations title.
